Lisa's Story

Hello, I’m Lisa Viveiros, an interior designer with a passion for creating meaningful and functional home decor. My journey in design has been deeply personal and inspired by the memory of my beloved sister,
who was born hearing impaired.

In honor of my sister, I created a unique wall dress-up doll. This design began with a mirror, symbolizing self-reflection-a sense my sister lacked. The dress-up feature represents the playtime she missed out on with friends, while the patented wooden body that grows in height symbolizes the childhood she was unable to fully experience. The doll also includes a purse with a positive message and a space for a child to sign their name, a tribute to one of the few things she could write.

After my sister passed away, I found myself struggling to continue my work and neglected my patented design. It wasn’t until eight years later, with the help of counseling, that I realized I was experiencing Survivor’s Guilt. Seeking guidance from God, I rediscovered my purpose and passion for design.

Now, with a renewed sense of purpose and my background in interior design, I am excited to introduce ExactlyU Home Decor. Through this venture, I aim to promote the importance of social skills and independent play, keeping my sister’s memory alive and inspiring others.
